Default Please end my frustration

I am shooting an 05 Allegiance which I have been shooting great with for several years. Recently I removed the Ripcord rest to put it on another bow. I decided to put it back on the Alley and thats when the trouble started.
I am getting very eradic flight. I shot the paper and I am getting a severe right/low tear. The tear does not change no matter where I move the rest. I thought that I might be getting contact so I powder tested and saw no signs. I believe that I have the rest timed properly but would like to hear some setup tips from guys with more experience.
What am I missing here. I am completely out of ideas. I have tried everything that I can think of. How did it go from so good to so terrible?

Please help. Thanks in advance

Is that all you changed was to take the rest off and back on? Did you cut the cord on the rest? Is it too short? I would off the cuff say that the rest is dropping too soon and/or you nock has moved.

Has it been in a press or had the limb bolts jockeyed at all since it was shooting OK?

I would forget the rest and start over with the basics of bow tuning and work your way back to the rest if you think it's OK... I would check the rest cord/cable once again then go to square, then tiller and cam timing. You'll find it.

One of the best pieces of advice given to me was: When you hear hoofbeats think horses not zebras... Which of course means it is most likely the common thing that comes to mind. Don't go chasing odd ideas till you are certain it's not the common thing causing the issue at hand.

I agree with dryridge 2. Start over. When ever the rip cord was on the other bow, you might have tuned it differently (stretched the springs and other mechanical devices inside)and it is harder to tune it back to they way it was working.
