Default D-loops, and peep tie in

I read a nice thread from Greg on tying in nocksets and D loops.... I never used to use a peep without an alignment bungee, but I am now. Here is my plan - please correct me if I am wrong.

I will shoot my new bow (an iceman) about 100-150 times or so bare bow (rest only) using my release

I will then install the sight (a G5 XR) and configure it so I can determine my best peep location based on full sight window, anchor point

Locate peep, and tie in peep

Tie in D-loop

Default RE: D-loops, and peep tie in

Your plan sounds good. Not that it matters but I do things a little differently. I set everything up, nock point, sight, d-loop, peep. Get the peep lined up with the sight by just drawing back, anchoring and checking alignment. Then I go shoot some arrows and make final adjustments on peep location. Then I tie in the peep.
