Default Looking For the best peep sight

Can any one give me there advice on the best peep sight perferably not a tubular sight .. Not very impressed with the G5's, Tru-Glo, Eastman... I'm shooting a Hoyt Alpha Max so the sort axle to axle doesn't make all peeps work do to the extreme string angle at full draw

I guess that I am old fashioned, but I have been using the tried and true Fletcher Super Hunter for years. I refuse to ever use one with a tube, and with a good string to stop twisting, I have never had a problem with it not lining up. I did just look at the Whisper Peep Liteby Loc A Peep and am impressed. The Lite version doesn't use the tube. Check out their website at www.locapeep.com I might just check one out sometime, but I honestly love the Super Hunter.

I've heard and seen from several people that have the same bow and poundage as me and after a month or so the seem to crush inside the string.

I had heard the same thing about some of the early G5 meta peeps. I believe that they have that problem worked out at this point.

The specialty archery peeps IMHO are really the way to go. They make a version for short and long ATA bows that accounts for the steeper string angle of the short bows. Every one of my bows wears a Specialty Archery ball peep.
