Default Question about Doug's nockset/D-Loop post

Ijustviewed Doug's nockset/D-Loop post and thought what a really neatthread. So I went and looked at my D-Loop setup and realized I had no internal nocksets plus the D-Loop coils have a .255" gap between them and my Baby G-Nocks are only .163" thick - duh!

I'm going to hunt down my serving string and redo my setup as Doug describes. His post indicated and I too have always set myarrow's nocking point 90 degrees to the string - I assume this is still the prefferedsetup method? Thanks (and for the great post).

Default RE: Question about Doug's nockset/D-Loop post

90 degrees to the rest is still the preferred "starting place" for the loop. Then it may need adjusted during whatever tuning method you use to tune the equipment. This can be done by moving the loop up or down or the rest, depending on what rest you are using.
