Default Chocolate Addiction

I bought a Carter Chocolate Addiction and I love it. My anchor point is more consistent and comfortable. I believe I could shoot another 0.5" of draw length if I wanted.

I didn't really do any research on how to shoot this new release correctly but it has shrunk my groups and I would like to hunt with it. However, I would like to hear some opinions on its appropriateness as a hunting release. I would also like to do some reading to make sure I am using it in the most correct way. It came with the lightest spring installed and I wonder if I should go to the medium because it is awful easy to trigger

Any suggestions?

I really don't have any experience with that model but have heard nothing but good about it.

IMO Carter releases are second to none! I Love my 2 Shot.

They are pricey, but IMO well worth the $$

I would definately try a heavier spring.nothing like the confidence of being able to lay into the trigger and apply back tension without fear of it going off prematurely.

The first thing I did with my Fits Me Too was install the heaviest spring supplied.

I would try to increase the loop length to get your elbow slotted properly if you are feeling bunched up.

As far as hunting,if you like it then go for it.I never could bring myself to carry a release that expensive in the woods and actually prefer a wrist release.

I think I'll take a trip to my dealer and get a longer set of modules. At 27.5", I could use all of the extra length I can get!

I used one for two seasons and it worked great! I used it with the lightest spring and had no problems. I climbed into my stand, clipped it on my loop, and enjoyed my hunt. It is one of the best T-Handles out there for hunting IMHO.

Thanks guys!
I am shooting 3D with it today so we'll see how it does in 'field' conditions.

Let us know how it goes! I have several releases I practice with, I just never tried hunting with a T handle though.

I'm sure it would work, if I took time to get used to it in a hunting situation.

Carter releases are IMHO a step above the crowd
