Well dangit, do they need field testers? I am game[8D]. I'm waiting to check one out before I decide between the Tripwire, Limbdriver, and Whammy rests.

I have played with the Tripwire and it is unique in many ways. It does require tension on the cord to operate properly, which is similar to the QAD & Ripcord.

[:'(]. Thats what I was wanting to stay away from. I was thinking that the Tripwire stayed up until release, guess I read it wrong on Octane's site.

You can cock it in the up position, but if what I was seeing from the rest is correct it has to have at least some tension on the cord to fire. Also on a slow let down it would remain in the up position.

The tension Dan's referring to isn't enough to affect cam timing, let-off, draw weight, etc.

Thats great! I'm new to this binary stuff , maybe getting a little too picky or paranoid. Think I'm gonna wait on the Tripwire to come out and give it a try. I like the idea of the rest already being up. Thanks Pat and Dan for clearing some things up with this rest.
