Default noisy mirage drop away

I have both the mirage and shoot-out arrow rests made by Golden Key. Both are great rests, but they seem to be noisy. THe mirage was quiet and then I took it off to play around with the shoot out and when I put the mirage back on I am getting a loud noise that sounds like it is coming from the spring. Any thoughts. I shoot a mathews legacy.

Sorry, I can' t help you.

I have only had mine on for a week. A couple of things that come to mind real quick is to make sure that the foam where the wire comes to rest is still on and the foam on the arm for stopping the lifting of the wire is still there also.
