Default New to Carbon Arrows

Devil in the Details.

Want to use plastic vanes - what offset do you find good?
Are there any poor offsets?
Use a fall away rest.

What length vane?
Use a four inch with aluminum arrows?
Is there a better length for carbon arrows?

inserts(point) -the aluminum arrows have inserts to fit the number.
How do inserts for Carbon arrows run per size of carbon arrow?

What glue for inserts?
Been using FERR-L-TITE for years on aluminum arrows.

Thanks for any help !!!

You may be set on blazers, but some knowlesge I've picked up on here and from my local pro shop is that feathers fly truer than anything you'll find. Several guys here, myself included, use Rayzr feathers. There the same size as blazers vanes, however, they're feathers and they fly extremely well. They're only 2 inches long but do an excellent job of stabilizing the arrow.

inserts
Most arrows come with the inserts and nocks you will need. Personally, when it comes to nocks I like these nocks here made my QAD. They give you a little extra speed but I like them simply because the arrow stays on the string for such a short period of time.

This stuff works wonders for me, there are several other options out there (apoxy, etc) but I don't think you can go wrong with Goat-Tuff
