Default Wrist slings?

What is the point of having them on your bow? Is it really necessary? Does it help improve accuracy? Which one would you recommend?

I like my sling because after i squeeze off the shot i can let the bow go where it wants without squeezing the bow or gripping it durring the follow through. It may increase accuracy because you do not need to worry about gabbing the bow or tourqing the bow durring the follow through..jmo

That is pretty much exactly the point of them. Bows today have so little jump that they probably aren't going to leave your hand anyway... but most people would rather shoot with a tight grip on their bow then risk having their baby go flying out of their hands. Its all in your head... it is cheap mental peace of mind.

Whatever sling you get, make sure it is made of stiff material.... some of these new super fat thick ghetto hot pink and purple slings slump down so you have to use two hands to pick up your bow.... it should sit upright along the grip so you can slide your hand up under it just like sliding into a pair of slippers.

The sling I use is made by CR. They make a cheap one and a more expensive one (they both have leather straps that attach behind the stabilizer. Get the more expensive one as it is stiffer (and its only like $8 anyway).
