Default looking for a new bow

my first bow was a fred bear whitetail bought for 75 bucks. the came my current bow. I got it about 5 or 6 years ago. a mathews outback. I love the bow, but am looking for something new. I have no brand preferences. i bought a hoyt katera for my wife last year. it is a sweet bow. I'd like something similair to my outback. but faster but still smooth. what do you guys think. what are bowtechs like i haven't shot one...

The very best thing for you to do is go to a few shops and shoot some bows until you find one you like. There are a lot of great bows out there that will you will find that you like. However, until you get one in your hands and actually shoot it, it would be hard to say.

Also, you might want to take your current bow with you to use as a comparison. It really does make a big difference when you shoot them side by side.

As for the Bowtech. They're a phenominal bow and I'll bet you would find one you like.

The Best thing is go shoot all the models you can get your hands on. Personally I don't worry about the Draw cycle because I've found my body soon adjusts.

The Smoothest drawing bows in the BowTech/Diamond/Ross Line are going to be the Ross Cardiac, Ross Carnivore (one of my favorites), and the DiamondBlack Ice.

You might also try the Diamond Iceman, and the BowTech Swat. I like the BowTech CP bows (Admiral, Captain, & Sentinel)but they are not for everyone. You really should shoot one though and see what You think
