Default The FOB

Has anyone used the FOB? I was thinkin of trying them. starrflight.com

They look like there kinda heavy which would not help your foc. Also if your have clearance issues you cant turn them to get them right like you can with vanes. I think ill stick with my feathers

It says that you have to use a drop-away. It also says they way 24.5 grains. I have no idea what 3 feathers w/ glue way. I like the idea of not having to fletch or refletch shafts.

They are GREAT in windy conditions...I have never used them for hunting, but I have messed around with them while shooting targets....They fly much better in a little breeze than vanes do.....That's about all the knowledge I have on them.

Deer coming into my treestand, a big non-typical. Setup is perfect. I draw back, take aim, and the pin settles perfectly on it's chest.....My thumb hits the release, arrow glides noiselessly toward it's target............then I woke up.....dang, another day of classes *sigh*
