Looking for some info on String Loops. Just installed one on my Super Tec.. I really like it, however, after I installed it, my arrow is shooting very low - ALTHOUGH MY ARROW IS NOCKED IN THE SAME POSITION AS IT WAS BEFORE I INSTALLED THE LOOP. Does anyone know why my tragetectory changed now that my release is attached to the loop, immediately behind the arrow, versus directly to the string below the nock?? I repeat, my arrow is knocked at the same location (on the string) as it was before I installed the string loop.
If you were attaching your release directly on the string below the arrow then the string was snapping down a little at the release of the string causing your nock to do the same resulting in a higher point of impact. With the loop directly behind the arrow and with equal pressure above and below the nock the arrow does not do this and moves straight with the release.

How about the change in your anchor point???
Your release was below your arrow, now it' s inline with, but behind it. It seems to me your old anchor point, with this new set up,will cause your arrows to hit the target lower.

Fulldraw,
Any change in grip, anchor point or where you attach the release will change your point of impact. Adjust your sights accordingly and you you should be all set.
Both your responses make perfect sense... I do beleive both factors attributed to the change in arrow impact point... too bad I did not realize that sooner - I would not have buried two arrows in the pine tree behind my McKenzie target...
