Default What's going on at Bowtech

Well I put my admiral in Left Hand on order over 6 weeks ago now and still noting as of right now. Talked to by bowshop owner 2 weeks ago after a month of waiting and he said that they he had just contacted bowtech and they said they had it manufactured it and would be sending it out soon. Well I'm sitting here tonight still not knowing anything. Hopefully he gets it tomorrow or Friday so I can pick it up this weekend. Just sorta sucks I really wanted that bow really bad but this is getting outrageous. I can understand it taking a little more time getting a LH model out but to really take another 3-4 or more yet is getting outrageous. Not angry or blasting any company or person just a little disapointed in turnaround time.

Lefty,

I am sorry to hear of what has happened to you. At one time or another I have been in the same boat....even after helping out with Bowtech.Case in point,I just received my '09 Ice Man two days ago and it was ordered back in October.

In all honesty I am not sure how ordering a left-handed bow works. They may have some, in certain models and certain configurations, pre-made prior to orders being taken. Other models and configurations may be on an "as-needed" basis. When you throw in the fact that the ATA show just finished up it may explain why some folks are a little behind on orders.

If I can do anything expedite your order I will. Drop me a PM with your info and I will see if can look into it for you.

Worst time of year to be ordering a bow from anyone. Lefty is even worse (and believe you me, it was much worse for lefties 10 or 15 years ago- I waited 5 months for my lefty PSE G-force, and 8 months for a lefty HCA EXcalibur)

Why does it take much longer now to get a bow when ordered? Would I be better suited to just wait a couple months before putting in an order for my new admiral?
