Quick guide to fletchings please?
I'm sorry that this has probably been asked several times but here it goes again. What differences are there in types of fletchings? I currently have 5" feathers on my arrows because thats what it came with, but I've seen many people with these tiny plastic ones that seem to be working just fine and are quieter. I have a Hostage rest and my fletchings seem to hit some of the brushes even when lined up correctly thus making noise and losing valuable FPS. So between feathers and vains (is that what the plastic ones are called?) and long and short really what's the difference in performance?
