Default Newbie here.... Please explain the pros/cons of various rests

I have a WB on my new bow that I just bought. The reason I liked is because being a newbie I wanted to make everything is idiot proof as possible. Thus, the WB seemed like it holded the arrow in place the best while waitingno matter how I would hold my bow in the treestand.

However, please explain the pros and consof the various type rests. Assume I know nothing for this disscusion.

Thanks.

The WB is a popular hunting rest no doubt, but the constant fletching contact can Not be good for anything.

Do they work? Sure, but for my money I'll shoot a drop away as full containment is of No concern for me.

I prefer the Limb Driver! Easy setup, No timing issues, and No resulting fletch clearance problems.

So how much does the WB slow down my arrows? Are there any other advantages to the WB?

WB's and tubed peeps are similar. They may work, but IMHO there are much better ways to get the job done.

I also found my groups tightened with a fall away

as far as the whisker biscuit i think its a great rest, nothing can go wrong. With that said , I personaly dont use the WB because of fletching drag , which causes wear on your fletchings. I havent seen any speed reports as far as slowing the arrow down. Give it a try and you might fall in love with it. I personaly use a drop away, which goes against my principal KISS ( keep it simple stupid ) I think I talked myself into one.

Could you give me examples? What kind of peep sights is everyone else using?

A lot of people use the G5 meta peep including myself.

Use quality strings and a Tru-Peep or G5 Peep. It is much simpler and works like a charm. You will also have a faster, quieter bow compared to a tubed peep.

I have used one for several years and I have never had an issue with my setup.
