I just had a question about something I had heard at a pro shop. The guy said that more often than not a single cam bow will have a more level knock point than say a dual cam bow. Can anyone explain if this is true or false and why?
I find just the opposite on bowtech and mathew single cams. For instance on my bowtech liberty, I am just a tad high over dead center. On my bowtech commander, its dead even.
I usually set up binarys and cam.5's dead nuts level.... single cams I set up 1/16" to 1/8" high.
Single cams usually have a more consistant nock travel path than two cams.... if you believe everything you read anyway.... personally my eyes aren't good enough to see the path of the nock before it leaves the bow....

Why do you think that is? Just the way it works out with different specs?
The older mathews and even bowtechs had nock travel. Meaning when released, your arrow will not travel in a straight line. At least this is what Len in MD showed on his draw machine. He mapped out several bows. Some dipped low, most high. He showed binary cams tracked even.
