i just bought a Bowtech Admiral 2009. Love the bow. i just would like some suggestions on arrow rest. i wanted the limb driver, but it does not work with that bow. not enough flex in the arms. so i been looking at the spot-hogg whammy. anybody shoot one? what do u think of it?
With some bows (and I haven't been able to pinpoint any chronic offenders) the Whammys can be difficult to get timed just right. Granted, they have made some changes and improvements over the first ones that hit the market. They are a pertty decent choice though.
I'm a QAD man myself..... wouldn't really use anything else.
Speaking of a QAD and an admiral... I did a set up thread on one and used an admiral as my platform. Check it out if you like.
Two words: Trophy Taker. QADs are nice, and I have the Ultra HD on my Parker Wildfire, but it wouldn't work on my PSE. Trophy Taker works phenomenally well, works every time, and was easier to set up and time than any of the others I tried out.

I feel the Whammy is the absolute best rest on the market right now, provided it works on your bow.The only one listed is the Vectrix that it will not work on.
It is the most forgiving and easieast to group tune with that I have seen.
i talk to vapor trails and they told me the Ld would not work on the admiral. they said that the limbs didnt flex enough. he told me i could tie the string to the end of the limb and stick it down with 3m tape. then it would work fine. i did not trust the method. captain very similar to the admiral. i would say no it would not. i would call vapor trails. they told that they are working on a new bracket
