Is anyone familar with the Toxonics Recoilless Stabilizer? It is 9-ozs it has a open cell foam piston & shaft, no liquid, it sounds interesting. I have a New Extreme VFT & I was going to put a GKF Tranqulizer I think is 7-ozs on but not sure now.......... love some input thanx

Default RE: Toxonics Recoilless Stablizer????

I' ve got one and it worked good but after a while the foam bushing inside got pinched between the center weight and the rod it travels on, causing it to make noise at the shot. When it was new it really seemed to soak up recoil and vibration. I took mine appart and made a rubber bushing but it ended up too loose and I could feel a clunk at the shot. Someday I' ll do it over again and do a better job. I think if it was made out of aluminum with a steel weight, it would be better.
