Default need advice tuning and arrow fletchings

I had wanted to switch over to 2 inch blazer vanes from 4 inch, so i dropped my arrows at a local guy and when they were ready he says "By the way i dont carry 2 inch blazers so i put 3 inch vanes on" He also took a look at my bow and said that it was out of tune and i needed cables and string. I took it somewhere else and they told me no cables and the string wasnt damaged or streched but it was simply not twisted up. So he twisted the string up. Got the cams back where they should be sitting. I took it home shot it. Fp' were excellent, i shot 3 touching my first set and the rest were really close. So i figured i would try some broadheads because they were shooting right on before. Well now my broadheads are shooting low left about 6 to 8 inches low only about an inch or 2 left. By the way this is at 20 yards. What i dont understand is that when all the levels are on my bow the front end of the arrow is high, but to move the bhs with my fps i would have to move my rest up correct..making my arrow point up even more. What do i do from here? will bringing it to a shop and having it tuned so everything is square again help? Or are my fletchings the one to blame? By the way im shooting 100 grain muzzy 3 blades

I'm no specialist but why would you more the rest? In my opinion you shouldn't have to move anything. Make sure you are using the same grain field tips are your broad heads and they should shoot close to the same. I have never had any problems as long as I stayed the same arrows, tip, broad heads weight and length.

I doubt if the change in fletching alone caused that much of a change in the bow's tune. But moving the rest or nock, twisting cables and strings, etc. can very much affect the bow's tune. Just download Easton's Tuning Guide and start tweaking things to get it back in tune.

Sometimes you actually need to move things in the opposite direction of what the tuning guide says. Put it back to level and centershot and go from there just as if it were a new setup.
