Default No peep on FX

Interested in improving my form/accuracy and was wondering if the new no peep would work for me. I have a Mathews FX, 29.5" draw, a Muzzy zero effect rest, and a Cobra 3 pin sight. I have heard that the fx has a small sight window. Would this come in to play, or should I just be happy with the peep I have now?

The no-peep should help you keep a consistant anchor. You can mount the no-peep to sit above your sight if need be.

Roseaukaine,

I have an FX 29" draw and 70 lbs limbs. I shoot with a no peep mounted under a SME hybrid sight. It works great. I am sure you have noticed the very small sight window on the FX. I just mounted the No-peep so that it was below my sights. It works great. I originally bought the No-peep for low light conditions. I was not able to see my pins as it approached the end of legal shooting hours. Served that purpose well but also had another advantage. I was able to see immediately if I was torqueing the bow.

I did help out with my form. Just a way to check hand torque on the bow really. The low light visiblity was still the main benefit for me.

I echo everything buckskin73 says. The short sight windo presents a problem or two but be patient and you won' t be sorry.

I hope you have a proshop nearby. Mine cost me $12.00 last week for new vanes and another dozen nocks.
