Default benefit of 27 over 28.5 inch arrows?

Since I put the QAD on, i can now run a shorter arrow. But is it worth it to go shorter? I knowm some like long arrows and some like short. How much fps is gained? Maybe 3-5 if that?

thanks in advance

If your arrows are spined right now then leave them alone.

If you go taking off 1 1/2" you will stiffen the spine and will have to go to a heavier head to get the spine back in check thus negating and speed gain
