I shoot a Bowtech Equalizer, 60#, 25 1/2" draw. I presently shoot 100gr. practice tips and Cabalas 400 55/75 8.4gpi arrows. I have a single pin sight that is zeroed in at about 25 yards. When I shoot at 40 yards I get about a 10" - 12" drop in my arrows. Is this normal? If I went with lighter arrows, would this help significantly? I would like to shoot lighter arrows, but am worried that they would affect my 10 and 20 yards shots.

RE: Arrow Flight
That's pretty normal. everyone thinks that with today's bows you can hold 1 pin dead on out to 50 ys. Even if you shot at 300 fps that just isn't the case. Furthermore, you are about as light as you can go with your current arrow set-up and even going lighter will not make that much of a difference.

Yours is shooting almost the exact same as mine. Im shooting ICS Hunter 400 arrows with 100gr tips. Im shooting 2"-3" high at 20 yards to be dead on at 25 yards. I havnt tryed 40 yards but have shot 50 yards. When i shoot 50 yards im hitting about 15" low. IM only shooting a 1 pin sight also. If i put where i want to hit at the very bottom of the pin just a hair above the level it is dead on at 50 yards.
