Default alpine bows

Does anyone have a alpine bow? A friend of mine is wanting to get started in the sport and had a store offer him a used alpine at a fair cost. I have seen ads for them in the past but know nothing of them. Opinions are all welcome.

Alpine makes some decent bows, you just don't hear a lot of hype about them. Sort of like Darton.

I have an alpine micro youth bow and it isn't bad for what we paid for it.

Strings could use an upgrade. My wifes bow is an Alpine Impact X-treme that used to be mine. I made my first bow kill with it. Not a bad bow at all. I would certainly own another.
