Default String twist????

I just bought a new Tiger Twist string for my Legacy. I put the string on and have not shot it yet. I was installing my peep sight and was having quite a problem getting it set just right. The string twists about 1/4 a turn every time I draw the bow. I thought these were " NO TWIST" strings. Maybe I have over or under twisted the string when I installed it. Maybe it needs to be shot a while before making any adjustments.

Any suggestion or help?

If have to twist the string, would I twist the sting in the direction it is twisting now. For example, if I draw the bow back and it twist counter clockwise, do I twist both ends of the sting equal amounts counter clockwise (opposite of the clockwise twist of 1 twist per 2" recommended by mathews)?

I think all strings will twist on draw back, The good ones will twist the same every time and the peep will be aligned.

I would not go crazy just yet, get 50 or so shots through the string so it settles down, then fine point the peep.

Give it 100 shots and then try to get it coming back the same. My best results have been with the peep rotated about 1/8 turn to the right when it' s at rest. You might have to put the bow in a press an take 1/2 turn out or put that in the shooting side, but that should be it.
