Default Effects of a loose stabilizer?

Could a loose stabilizer cause inconsistent grouping?

Probably not, but it might not be too good on the threads that it screws into.

Yes it could.A stabilizer absorbs energy from the shot.If it's loose, that unabsorbed energy has to go somewhere and it will make the bow vibrate. You might not notice the vibration, but it could affect the way the arrow comes off the bow.Tighten, replaceit or take it off

If you are having some issues with it coming loose put some blue locktight on the threads and it will not go anywhere. I had some issues with mine and could tell every time when it was loose when I was shooting.

I noticed a difference when I was using my Sims and it wasn't tightened down. So yes.

If you have that little Sims S-Coil, that thing is NOT a stabilizer anyhow, and it really wouldn't improve upon your shooting much anyhow.

A slightly loose stabilizer really shouldn't affect your shot at much as it may increase some of the handshock/vibration you feel after your loosed that arrow. Loose or not, if it is connected to your bow at the right place, and is a decent stabilizer, it should improve upon your shot over "not having one at all." I personally think that a parallel limb bow seems to need "less" stabilization than and older styled bow, but that may just be my own warped feel causing that.

I haven't notice a increase in hand shock without verses with a stab.It also lightens up the bow just a hair and less stuff to hang on things when moving around.
