Default Sight pin distances changed after tuning

I had a gentleman tune my bow that was quote " un-tunable" this evening. He did in fact fix the problem. When I got home and started shooting, my 10 yard pin is now my 20, 20 roughly my 30 and so on so forth. It makes since to me that cleaner arrow flight means greater speed and greater distance. Am i correct with this and is this normal?

I would say the arrow is just coming off at a little different angle than before and that is what changed the point of impact.

I would say TFOX is on the money.

Could be a lot of things.

Not sure the better flight would show much difference at 10 yds, soI suspect it is related to a rest or nock point adjustment, up or down, as TFOX suggested.

In all honesty, especially with todays MODERN bows, there really is such little difference between 10 and 20 yds that having a 10yds pin is nothing more than cluster in your view anyhow. I'm NOT normal, by any means, because I base my pins on the speed of my bow, and what will leave me pretty close if I misjudge distance. My Trykon XL shoots my arrows around 275-277fps, and based on the ballistics of that speed, I set my 1st pin at 24yds, then me second at 32, that way if I'm shooting a 28 yds shot and I misjudged and thought it was 24, I'm just a little high, or vise versa thought it was 28 and it's 32, I'm just a little low. But this requires you to think a little more about you pin distances and what distance the animal is, but gives you a smaller margin for error if you use the wrong pin.

Boy did these guys hit it. I too don't think you'd gain that much speed, although you are right to a point. There should be a little gain. Again, no need for a 10 yard pin, for the reasons mentioned. What I'd suggest doing is to go ahead and resight your bow. Use your 20 yard pin for 20 yardsand gang adjust the sight. Check your other yardages and then remove the 10 yard pin altogether.
