Anyone knowledgeable about the Jennings Buckmaster?

I've got a neighbor who comes down and shoots with me every once in a while that has an older Jennings Buckmaster; he needs to shorten his draw length on it from 30" to 29... anyone familiar with this cam system?

It looks like one may be able to just move the peg in the slot; of course, that's going to change the cam rotation some, though I don't know if that will matter since it's a single cam.
