Default What's your stats?

I am looking for a new bow this year. I have been locked on getting a PSE X-Force TS, but I have been having some doubts lately and was wondering what some other bows are shooting. I have a 26" draw and I will be starting out at 62lbs and trying to work my way up to 70. My arrows are 250 grains with a 100 grain broadhead. The X-Force SSI shot at the local dealer was shooting 285-290fps when we set it up. I was just wondering what some of the rest of you are shooting.

I'm not someone who shoots heavy arrows, but I would not use a 250 grain arrow for hunting.
I think it's best to get the arrow weight over 300 grains to avoid deflection, on ribs.
Normally, I do not just post opinion; my wife used a 250-255 gr. arrow and it deflected off ribs on a 17 yard broadside deer using a fixed head. She has killed 8 deer with similar or less KE, but the arrows were 330 gr. or more, so momentum does matter.
We are both using at least 380 grain arrows.

I believe his total arrow weight is 350 which should be plenty of KE at that speed if I'm ready this correctly. What is considered the minimal KE for deer at 30yds and under?
Thanks

Srgav1n,

With your short draw length take a look at the X-6. You will gain more speed (if that is what you are looking for) and the short brace height will not make that much difference to you. I have an X-6 myself and found no difference in feel when shooting any of the X-bows!
