Default Mathews DXT / QAD Ultra Rest

I just purchased a Mathews DXT, and have it set up with a QAD Ultra rest. I used this same rest on my Mathews Switchback XT last year, and did not have any problems, but I am getting a bad slap, and eratic arrow flight on this new bow. The dealer set the center shot, and leveled the rest, but I just can't get this slap adjusted out of it. Is anyone having the same problem, if so any ideas would be a big help.

It must be a rest timming issue? Have you tried altering the length of the cord? I installed the very same rest on my DXT and honestly, I have NEVER had such an easy tune on ANY rig I've ever owned. I made one adjustment after my first shot and my second shot was a perfect bullethole. The bow has shot like a dream since. Best of luck to ya and let us know what you find out?

I just put the QAD Pro on my Drenlin for my Muly and speed goat hunt and have no Issues at all except the other day at about 34-36 yrds I wasted two arrows with a robin hood,Its quite and shoots well at 40-50-55yrds 20-30 its dead on also, however I did switch back to 4" vains being Iam not a big fan of Blazers but do use them with the DropZone and the WB.....
My shop guy sold me the Pro for 100.00 tax incluededso couldnt pass it up.

When you say slap, you don't mean that its tearing up your fletch and not falling do ya? Do that too much and it will tear up the QAD.

I set my nock point with this rest a tad high so that when it falls, it does not contact my riser. I also put molehair on the riser.

When it falls does it contact the riser?
When you prop it up, and are at full draw, does the fork straighten up to straight up vertical?

Thanks, for the ideas. I also thought it could be a timing issue, I'll see if I can clear it up.
