Germ, are you cleaning the base of the Blazer? If you are, don't. They have an activator on them to assist w/ adhesion. We use Bohning Quantum XT (pricey, but designed to work w/ the Blazer) on all aluminum arrows....They stick good. Also, make sure you clean the shaft w/ denatured alchohol first.

LOL You didn't hear about the problem while all the koolaid was being passed around? Odd!
Don't you get the feeling sometimes that everybody else is deaf and blind? I don't know how many times I've had an issue with something and have heard "I've never heard of that before". Typically followed by some comment about how I've got a hidden agenda.
Just call me Mr.Lucky!
I used super glue. Didn't work on vanes, feathers were fine. Got rid of all but 2 of the fmj's I tried.
NO ONE ELSE HAS EVER COMPLAINED OF THIS, HMMMMMMMM. LOL
Are you using a wrap? Makes it easier to me. I use the Blazer wraps on my axis and acc arrows, and use Quantum xt glue. Hold up very well, and easy to strip apart with the wrap to refletch.

What is the magic in getting blazers to stick to FMJ arrows?

A lot simpler than all that. You're using the wrong glue. Send me a few, I'll fletch them for you and see if they come off.
I have mine wrapped and the guy at the shop said he found....pine ridge? glue to work the best for this. He also told me that blazers used to have some coating on the bottom but the new ones dont and they stick a lot better. Just what I heard.

I use AAE fast set gel, Pine Ridge gel, Gold Tip glue and don't have any problems getting blazers to stick to any aluminum shaft. FMJ or otherwise.
FYI... there are only a few glue manufacturers located throughout the world. It is very very very likely that all of the fast setting fletching glues are exactly the same glue coming from exactly the same place, regardless of what label is on the outside.
