Default 3-Blade or 4-Blade Broadhead

I'm shooting a 3 fletch blazer type fletching on carbon arrows. Should I shoot a 3 blade or a 4 blade broadhead? Or doesn't it really matter. I plan on shooting either Slick Tricks or NAP Nightmare broadhead. Thanks for your input.

It doesn't matter. More important is broadhead choice rather than the number of blades. Both of the heads you are considering are excellent choices.

It's all about choice. I wouldn't think of using anything else but Muzzy Phantoms 220 grain. Anything else lighterto me is a joke, but that is my opinion only. I like the fact that they are forty thousands thick, I can take off the bleeder blades and shave off 20 grains (which I don't). I like a heavy FOC. I like the cut on contact.

I don't like the fact that no one stocks them, and must be ordered, but I can deal with that!

I'm using Blazers; my bow is paper tuned. Slick Trick standard 1'' 4 blade heads hit with my field points @ 30 yards, arrow speed 293.

I shoot the same setup of arrows...carbons with 3 blazers and i shoot the slick trick 100 gr magnums...there is no difference from where my field points hit compared to the tricks, they're amazing and very sharp....just make sure to have them spin tested to insure the arrow/broadhead are in tune
