Default arrow speed

does anyone now of a web sight i can go to to coculate my bows arrow speed by entering the arrow weight/draw lenght /draw weight

There is a little more to speed than the info you're going to plug in. Such things as bow efficiency is another factor. What is the string material. Some material is faster than others. What all do you have on the string? Where is it located? What type of rest are you using? Some create a bit more drag than others. What type of peep are you using? Peeps with rubber tubes are a lot slower than others. Everything on the string slows it down.

What is the draw length of the bow? Measured draw length, that is. NOt a guestimate or going by the sticker on the limb. Did you actually weigh the bow for peak weight?

You can use all the calculators you want, but the only accurate way is to use a chronograph. Using such calculators and you can easily be off by 20 fps or more.

I used the one that 6x6 put the link to and was within 2-3 fps on both of my arrow setups that were verified within 1-2 fps on two chronos. The formula worked quite well for me.
