hello i just bought a used horton supermax 175 cross bow and it has a scope setup with 5 points of aim and it has the dial for adjusting the scope for yardage i think i dont understand the dial on the side also when i was sighting in the scope at 20yds and using the top set of crosshair lines nomatter how high i adjusted the scope it shot low i had the dial on side at 0 but when i used the second set of lines it was dead on do the scopes run 10-50yds or does it start where you want it tolike 20-60yds and when i get the scope sighted in what does the dial do? do the two work together such as if i am sighting it in at 20yds do i have to have the dial at 2 and if so what set of lines do i use also when i got it it came with 4 20" carbon bolts in the quiver and a new box of 6-22" carbon bolts which is the proper size if 20" is the proper size can carbon bolts be cut down like alum ones sorry for so many queastions but i didnt get a book with it and i am new to crossbows and bow shooting and hunting
