Default minor problem with vft

I just got my new vft today. The thing is, is when we were setting the bow up for my kisser button and peep I had to draw the bow back a couple of times to check if it was right. I shoot with a complete open hand and one time when I drawed it back I just got to the break point in the draw and the release just went off and the bow jumped out of my hand and hit the floor. I know dry firing any bow isn' t good. The shop owner looked the bow over real good, he checked for cam and idler wheel lean and for cracks and other stuff. I was just wondering if there is anything that I should really look at hard to see if it hurt the bow.

Has anyone else had dry fire problems and what were they if any.

Thanks to all.

Chazz.
I hope you learned the lesson never draw a bow unless there is an arrow knocked.

The bow should be fine if the pro shop couldn' t find anything wrong.
