Default how to replace shrink tube

I recently put a prong style rest on my bow and it's about that time. the metal is starting to show and make a little noise. any advice on how to replace them? will the old ones slide off or is it easier just to cut em with a razor? Any and all advice appreciated.

You can pull them off by hand.Make sure you use silicone heat shrink tubing not the regular radio shack stuff.Use a heat gun to shrink.

most times it will pull off, but once and a while I cut it. To be honest though it's been years since I used shrink tube, been shooting WB and drop away rests for a while now.
