Default draw length adj.

Hello to all,
If i want to tweak my draw length, shorter,i know i can twist the string up some. But do the buss & control cables have anything to do with it?

Thanks in advance,
Steve

There are specifications, unique to each bow, for things like axle to axle, brace height, cam rotation, etc. You should stick real close to these specs, as your bow was designed to perform at optimum efficiency when these things are set to factory specs. Yes, there is a very small amount of draw length adjustment to be had from tweaking the cables and string. You can also do a bit of tweaking by using shorter or longer D loops. But, overall, any draw length change past 1/4" or so needs to be done by changing cam modulesor, in the case of some bows, adjusting the cams. No free lunches here.
