Howdy
I have just put a 4-pin sight on my 60# hunting bow and was wanting to set the pins at 20-30-40-and 50 yards, but have bottomed out the the adjustment on the pins (and they are close together at the bottom)and the adjustment on the sight. Am I going to be able to use this sight orwhat else can I do to get some room between the pins and still make the sight work at these yardages? Had a 3-pin on there with no problems at 20-30-and 40 yards.
Make sure that your peep is in the right place. A tiny movement of the peep will equal a large pin movement. Draw your bow with your eyes closed then open your shooting eye. If the peep doesn't line up with your pupil move it until it does, then try and resight the bow.

Sometimes you have to fabricate a little bracket or use some washers to get the sight to where the pins have adjustment. What kind of sight did you get?

Mr. R. not real sure what your talking about(I'm REAL GREEN AT THIS) don't have a hole on the shelf that I can see, one up on the side of the shelf, not on the bottom.
Yes - I'm talking about through the side. Your arrow rest bolts to this hole on the right side of the riser - it's called the Berger hole. Normally, if you look at the bow from the left side at eye level, a nocked arrow shouldline upjust about right down the middle of this hole - am I making sense here? Wish I had a digital picture . . . .

What type of bow are you shooting? If you're shooting a single cam bow the nock point should be 1/8" to 1/4" above level with your rest. If you're able tomove your nock up or your rest down it should bring your sight back into where it can be adjusted.

The arrow when nocked is below the Berger hole, not even, I have a Rip-cord rest on the bow. It's a Bowtech single cam bow. The peep is fine, when I open up my shooting eye I don't have to move my head any to see the pins. I think moving my nock my do it. Thanks Mr.R. Mr.C1 and Mr. kill. for your help.
