Default Sight Dilema

Does anyone use the vertical pin sights? I have a Trophy Ridge ez something that has vertical pins that was handed down by my father. Outside of the Trophy ridge sights are there any out there with 4-5 pins in a vertical setup?

My issue is that I have a new Katera on the way and I want a sight similar to my copper john sight but in a vertical pin configuration. The Trophy Ridge sight is ok but is there anything better out there?

Default RE: Sight Dilema

I personally DON'T like the vert. pins design, but I think this is a "to each his own." I have a Sword and my two Cobra Sidwinders that I LOVE, but those are MY preferences. Don't know if there is another vert. pin design out there, but I want to say "Trophy Taker," makes one similar to Trophy Ridge if I remember correctly.

I have the trophy ridge's and don't know of any more that are vertical. I like the vertical pin's they open up my view....I don't know what model trophy ridge you have but they make some higher end sights, mine are 5 pin models.....

Edit: What kind of problem's are you having with the sight??? I have been shooting them for a few years and haven't had any issues. I was just curious as to why most on this site don't like these sights????

Default RE: Sight Dilema

I have a Cobra Easy Slide sight and I like it. It has a greater F.O.V. than any of my previous sights.

BTW, It's a vertical pin sight.
