I had an '05 Diamond and now own a '08 Marquis. Factory strings have held up well for me. After getting it shot in I have put 50-100 shots a day almost every day with no creep. I will probably go until January when its a year old before I replace it. Definitly not junk.
How old was the string on the 05 Diamond when I bought it?I have a 07 Black Ice sitting on front porch waiting on me...need to find out how old that string is too.

I'd put BowTech factory strings up against any aftermarket strings.. period. That's not to say that there aren't some quality aftermarket strings out there, but I'll still put the stock BT strings up against any of them. They're that good.
BowTech makes some great strings. I often change them because I like to pick my colors and it gives me a backup set at my finger tips. Some of myBowTechs I've left the stock strings on and had nothing but great service out of them.

Just over a year on the string and about 9 months on the cable. See, I had this accident with a broadhead. I nicked the cable so John got a replacement to me pretty quick. it should probably be replaced before season.
