Default Drop-away question

Got my new bow back from the shop last week.

It is a bowtech Allegiance, 27 1/2" DL, I believe with the speed mods, and set at about 66 pounds right now.

Shooting a 365g arrow out of it.

Figuring maybe 290-300fps out of this set up. (haven't chrono'd it, probably never will)

I have put maybe 300 arrows through it so far, and I have noticed that the drop away prong, has been leaving marks on the underside of my blazer vanes, as of right now it is a slight discoloration, but the arrow vanes have wore most of the silencing material off of the dropaway prong (looks like a camo-moleskin)

I have a HHA drop away rest (will have to get exact model once I can look at the bow), the cable is taut at full draw, and attached to the down cable (not on the cable guide, as I had it on my old bow)

Is there anything that I can check or do to the set up to get it to drop out of the way? or are some drop aways inherently slower?

I had the same problem with my dropaway on my allegiance. I had to raise my rest and knock point. I took my arrow and put it backwards on the rest with the shaft touching the knockpoint, noticed the vanes actually would hit the riser shelf. If you do that and it looks like your arrow will clear then it is some kinda timing problem. I also noticed on myallegiance youhave to go cockvane up and slightly in to avoid hitting your cables. that could be marking yourvanes too.

I shoot the limb driver on my ally and dont have any problems at all. I shoot cock vane up but I am also shooting small vanes. Wiaxle, when you get it chronoed let me know. I am basically shooting the exact same set up and I am shooting 279 fps. Just curious to know what speed you are putting out.
