Default Stabilizer for my 82nd

I will be the proud new owner of a bowtech 82nd airborne this week, and I am debating on which stabilizer to choose. I am torn between the new octane 7in hunter and the bowjax 7in maxjax stabilizers. I was just curious if anyone has had experience with either of these. I have used sims modular and fuse axium in the past but Im looking to try someting new. Any help would be appreciated.

thanks

Dave

The octane line looks impressive, although I can't comment it firsthand. Give Dead Center Archery a try. I have their 10" hunter stabilizer and it's impressive. Also includes a tapped front reciever hole for screw-in weights (similar to posten stabs). I was referred to them by Tkycaller on here (DCA has a pretty decent thread going over on AT concerning their stabilizers, and people seem to all like them).

I am currently using a 10" multi rod Doinker on my 82nd, but hope to try the 7" Octane soon. I am also a Bowjax dealer but I am not that impressed with their line of stabilizers.

I just got my 82nd all set up and shot it tonight. I just used my fuse axium with a doinker abomb and was pleased with how it did. I got pretty good speeds out of it, wasnt real happy with the slaping sound I was getting when the string hit the short stop. I will admit my arrows were a little light which could have attributed to the sound. I was shooting a 368grain arrow and was getting 328fps out of it.
