Default String & Silencer Advise Please

I have a High Country 4 runner 28'' draw.
I am looking to replace the string & cable on it soon and am wondering what string is good? I will be having the local pro shop do this. they said that there is not too much difference between strings. Is this true?
I will be replacing the string silencers at this time as well. currently they are the rubber type. I am not really a fan of them. I have been looking at the SVL leaches, beaver balls, and the fuzzy felt version of whats on there now. Sugesstions?

Thanks for your help

Contact gibblet here on the forum his strings are second to none.

No it is not true there is a big difference in strings, it all depends on what material and how the strings are made, some are pure junk even tho they use the same material as some of the better ones.

Forgot get ahold of meanv here and get one of his supressors and do away with string silencers altogether

There is big difference between good strings and cheap/bad strings. A lot of times the first thing someone does when they buy a bow that doesn't come with good strings is swap them out for a decent set.

I prefer the Beaver Balls or yarn puff ball silencers my self. They very quiet and last a VERY long time compared to the rubber ones, be it string leaches or rubber cat whiskers.

I still find it hard to believe having your string slam into something at the end of it's travel is more quiet than decent well placed string silencers.

I have used Sportsmans Outdoors "Tarantula" string silencers for years. If you don't have a string stopper, they work fine: if you use a string stopper, they tend to fly apart. With a string stopper, I like Bowjax Ultra2's or the Diamond/Bowtech Hush Kit.
