Default Why No 125 Grain Mechanicals?

I'm gettin ready to build some new arrows and i need 125 grain head, I think i want a mechanical preferably not an over the top opening style. So im lookin at Rage 2 blade but it looks like they only come in 100 grain, same with rocky mountain snypers.

Can i get an extra heavy insert or do they make weights or somthingso i could use 100 grain tip and still have about the same weight up front?

What should i do?

Thanks,
Brandon

You can get weights that screw into the back of your inserts.

You could use one of the many "regular" style mechanicals on the market that have been killing deer for years. Rocket Steel head, NAP Scorpion XP, or Wasp Jack hammerwould be my choices.

You could get the 25 grain"boosters" from aftershock archery.

Or You couldtake my adviceand just use one of the many many manyfixed heads that fly every bit as good as mechanicals do and then you don't have to worry about the broadhead "working" when it gets there

I shoot 125 grain Grim Reapers. I don't have any trouble finding them.

NAP Spitfire 125 grain.
These work great for me, I use them on all of my bows, and my XBow.

The G5 Tekan II is a great little broadhead. It's rearward opening like the Rage, and it's even tougher than the Rage as well.
