Default Speed Question

I was currently useing a whisker biscuit style rest, and just bought a drop away arrow rest. I was wondering if you would gain much speed from going from all that drag to a drop away? I have a shorter draw length and was wondering if it would gain a reasonable amount?

thanks

Default RE: Speed Question

I would guess you will only gain 2 - 4 fps tops, but the only way to know for sure is toshoot it through a chrony with both rests.

If I remember right I picked up about 5 feet per second when I went from the biscuit to the MZE
