Default Carbon arrow selection help

Set up: 07 Hoyt Vectrix, 55lbs, 26" draw, D-loop, release, 4" vanes, 100 gr BH's with ~30 gr inserts

Requirements:

1) arrow must be at least .0035 or better tolerance

2) at least 8 gpi and no more than 9.5

3) good wall thickness

4) price really not an issue

5) must put me close to the sweet spot in the spine chart with arrows cut at 26"

btw- CX maxima 250's are for the moment out of the question because I don't like how thin the wall thickness is. Easton axis also momentarily not being considered because I don't like how there's no collar between the arrow and the BH.

Thanks

Just wondering why that is? Doesn't matter whether the broadhead butts up against an insert or the shaft, energy transfer is the same and this way you've got one less component to be out of true.

Go with the Easton ST Axis. It has all the features you are looking for, and the issue with the collar is moot point.I use these arrows and have had no issues that you might equate to the lack of a metal collar. Shot one through one side of a cinder block once - accidently. Ruined the field point, but didn't damage the arrow or the insert.
