Default Axis Arrows

Well my .340 FMJ arrows as I feared are a bit weak. I am getting a left/low tear, just a bit. My .350 Carbon Express bullet holes 27''.

The FMJ are 28'' I am going to cut them down to 27'' and give it a shot. I took the tip of and shot it, bullet hole from the FMJ 100 grains lighter. Put the weight around 450. If I cannot get them to fly, looks like another 132.00 bucks to meanV[&:].

I will report back.

Cutting an inch off the nock end of the arrow can make a difference. You also might try just going to a 75 grain field point to see if it helps. If not, cutting an inch isn't going to cure the problem.

I know, just trying to save some cash. I know it will make the arrow a bit stiffer. It may be all I need, I hope[&:]

If not, there's always e-bay for those .340 arrows. [8D]
