Looks very good. You are very clever when is comes to bow accessories. I just wonder how the cable guard will hold up to its new job.

I did chamfer the hole that the rod goes through The rod shouldn't back out with this stopper The assembly should weigh in at around 1 1/2 ounces now. I weighed it at work on a very sensitive scale with a different rubber piece and it was 1.77 ounces but that was before I did some hole drillin' and ball end millin'

It's looks good. However, doesn't thehalter impede the cable slide from coming back the whole way? On my Ally at full draw my stop is right where you've mounted the halter.

Nope, there's still about 1/2 an inch of travel left.

Great idea! I saw that Darton has a sts type supressor attached to the cable guard also. I think it's a great way to add a suppresor for those of us who don't have a rear bushing in the riser. I hate the idea of putting a front mount sts on my bow, it's a lot of unnecesary bulk.

Go to the Darton websight and see how they mount their STS to the cable guardin front of the cable slide. I'd like to see someone make this style, it'd be lighter and less bulky than a front mount STS.

I just took the Rustlerapart and weighed it on my powder scale and it comes out at 628 grains or 1.437 ounces. My next stage will be to make one all out of rubber and it will just slide over the cable rod,,, someday..
