Default arrow selection charts

Forgive me if this has already been discussed. I've been shooting an older compound from the mid 90's recently. As we all know, arrow selection charts are based on draw weight etc. I've definitely noticed that newer bows store much more energy than this older one at the same draw weight.

Anyways, has anyone ever thought about this before? Not sure it really matters anyway, the worst case would be getting an overspined arrow which doesn't seem to be that big of an issue.

Default RE: arrow selection charts

Oh I think you're definetly spot on. I used to shoot a 2213 off of my 70#, 30" Riptide. There's NO WAY I could shoot that arrow off of my Vectrix. It would be bent before it got to the target.
