Default arrow weights

i bought some pse dominator 300' s from by brother in law. Will this work on my 40 lb bow with 75gr. fieldpoints ?

You really need a 100 or maybe a 200 (depending on your arrow length). Someone more qualified than me will need to explain the disadvantages of shooting a heavily overspined arrow. The 300' s will not hurt your bow though,so don' t worry about shooting them. They just might not give you proper arrow flight, I have no hands on experience with this though ,so someone else jump in..............

You' ll be overspined for sure with the 75 grain points. I' m not sure of the ramifications of an overspined arrow, but if you go to a much heavier tip weight it will cover some of the gap. What arrow length?? Check the PSE website, I' m sure they have a spine chart to refer to.
