Default new cable and tuning

i just bought a new fred bear instinct a 2 weeks ago from a gander mountain. i was shooting 2 days later and noticed that the cable was warped i called gander and they said to bring it in, now i just want the cable and have my proshop i go to put it on, but because of this will my bow go out of tune and will it have to be tuned again?

Probably. I have changed the complete set of string/cables a couple of times and it did affect both the tune and the sights. If they measure the BH and ATA, and twist the new cable to restore those dimensions exactly, it should be pretty close. But then it will stretch a little and. . . . . hopefully it won't be off very much.

If you take some precautions before anything might occur , you can put it back to tune pretty easily.
After it's tuned to your liking , take a scribe and mark the cams along the limb edge. That will be your reference the next time something like this happens. It will be easy to return to the tuned spot.
